Andrew’s Episcopal School Annual Giving Campaign, tell me more about it...
Since 1946 St. Andrew’s Episcopal School had been dedicated
to “Educating the Mind, Body and Spirit.” Providing a sensitive and caring
education for each and every child requires support from all of our families and
friends above and beyond the cost of tuition and so each year we invite our
families and friends to join the Annual Fund Campaign.
Why do we need an Annual Fund Campaign if we pay
tuition?
Unfortunately tuition only covers about 75% of the true
cost of a St. Andrew’s education. Your tax deductible gift through the Annual
Fund helps bridge the tuition gap. As an independent school we must depend on
the generosity of our families and friends to support the ongoing needs of the
school. Gifts to the Annual Fund support the school’s current operations
insuring we have the best resources, facilities and faculty for our children.
I am new to the school and can only make a small
gift—is that acceptable?
Of course! Because at St. Andrew’s we want all of our
families to participate and we believe every dollar makes a difference! Your
participation in the Annual Fund is a vote of confidence in the school and sends
a message to the community and other donors that you believe in the mission of
our school. Often corporations and foundations that provide support to
non-profits will consider donor participation levels in determining a funding
request.
Are there different ways to make a gift other than
writing a check?
A downloadable pledge form is available right here on the
website with several payment options. You can make a pledge, pay by check, cash
or charge card. You may even make a gift through a stock transfer—more
information is available at the school office to assist you. If you work for a
company that has a matching gift program you may be able to double your gift to
St. Andrew’s! Simply request your company’s matching gift form, complete it and
then send it to our office and we will take care of the rest for you. All
pledges are due in full by June 30th.
